Making his way to the Land Down Under, Taylor Lautner was spotted touching down at Melbourne Airport in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday (August 21).

Wearing a big smile on his face to go with a mostly-black ensemble, the “Twilight” heartthrob was escorted through the terminal as he’s in town for a short Aussie promotional tour tied with his upcoming movie “Abduction”.

Taylor Lautner and director Gus Van Sant get smushed together by the cast of Cirque du Soleil’s IRIS at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday evening (August 13).

The 19-year-old Abduction star and director enjoyed the new show which is a lyrical, fanciful, kinetic foray through the world of cinema bringing together dance, acrobatics, live video, and filmed sequences through the history of cinema and its genres.

Speaking of Abduction, Taylor will be heading Down Under to promote the movie next week! Red carpet premieres will happen in Melbourne on August 21 and Sydney on August 23.

Taylor Lautner suits up for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2011 Installation Luncheon held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday (August 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif. The 19-year-old Twilight star wore a charcoal wool peak lapel suit and white dress shirt from the Fall 2011 Calvin Klein Collection. The A-listers braved the warm temperatures to attend the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Installation luncheon, which provides grants to arts organizations. This year, 46 nonprofits were awarded over $1 million in grants.

Taylor will also be attending this years Teen Choice Awards with Robert Pattinson and other Twilight Saga cast members. SPECIAL EDITION graphic novels featuring the late ‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson, American actress Selena Gomez, hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas, pop singer Britney Spears and Twilight actor Taylor Lautner have been announced.

Bluewater Productions says that, starting in August, its Fame biography titles for each of those stars will be repackaged with additional artwork, story content and new covers to expand each edition to nearly 40 pages.

“Each of these titles sold out during their initial release, but now we are nearly doubling the size of the book and giving fans and collectors more of what they want,” said publisher Darren G. Davis.

Each issue retails for $7.99 at book stores and online outlets.

So, we have figured out that Antonio Cromartie was probably on the set of Funny or Die with Taylor Lautner which explains his tweets with photos of himself and Taylor. It is rumored that Nick Jonas may also have something to do with it after seeing his tweet which said “Why is Taylor Lautner trying out for the NFL?!? Find out next Wednesday on Funny Or Die!” which can be seen here.

Taylor may be putting that muscle of his to use with the news the Twilight hunk may be trading in his acting shoes for a gig handling the pigskin!

Taylor Lautner is going pro — for a video that is! Funny or Die tweeted June 30, “Why is Taylor Lautner trying out for the NFL?!? Find out next Wednesday on Funny Or Die #FootballOrDie.” They also included a photo of the actor with some rather strapping hunks — let’s hope Taylor didn’t have to go against these muscle heads!

Taylor fans will have to wait until July 6 to see the video, no doubt humorously promoting Taylor’s muscular physique and role in the upcoming Abduction, but from the looks of this photo even Taylor may be too tiny for the pros.

Taylor is making his big action star debut in “Abduction,” and the stills and clips from the film are enough to make a girl go “‘Twilight’ what?” and “Edward who?” (Oh, and turn green with all the Lily Collins envy.)

We’ve all seen the photos of Taylor dragging or protecting a pretty much petrified Lily. And the beautiful black and white close up of Tay-face. And these things are good. They say, “I am Taylor Lautner, and I can brood with the best of them and protect people—even if Bella did kind of get away.” But what about that quintessential shot that says, “I am Taylor Lautner, action star extraordinaire, here to out badass the greats”?

Today, we got that image.

In the new “Abduction” poster, Taylor brings his usual sexiness, of course (brooding eyes, bulging muscles—it’s all pretty much par for the Taylor Lautner course at this point), but adds a little of the danger we should expect from action man Taylor. Battling wicked vampires is one thing, but what is Taylor even doing here? Is he sliding down a skyscraper out of a broken window? Is that actually happening? Yeah, we think it kind of is.

Kristen Stewart hits the red carpet at the A Better Life world premiere gala screening on Tuesday (June 21) at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old actress wasn’t the only Twilight star at the Los Angeles Film Festival event – co-star Taylor Lautner also attended! Kristen and Taylor came out to support the film’s director, Chris Weitz, whom they both worked with on The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

A Better Life centers on a gardener in East Los Angeles who “struggles to keep his son away from gangs and immigration agents while trying to give his son the opportunities he never had.”
