One of the things Nikki Reed looks forward to exploring in “The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn” apparently involves Taylor Lautner. In a recent interview with People magazine, the Rosalie Hale of the “Twilight Saga” series reveals she is excited to tackle the bonding that develops between her character and Taylor’s Jacob Black.

“Selfishly, I’m really pleased with my relationship with this kid, but I really like the way it affects my relationship with Jacob,” the 22-year-old first said as referring to baby Renesmee. She continued to explain, “In the first part of the books Jacob and I hate each other, but we bond over this baby and we develop this connection that is really powerful.”

The “Thirteen” actress also compared her real life friendship with Taylor to the one their characters share during the chat at a Cirque du Tacori event in Santa Monica. “It feels similar but at the same time more volatile than the relationship that I have in real life with Taylor,” she admitted. “We’re obviously buddies, but there’s a playfulness that we get to explore that wasn’t there before.”

Both Nikki and Taylor will reprise their role of Rosalie and Jacob in “The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn”. Along with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, they will be joined by newcomer Mackenzie Foy, who has been set as Renesmee, and a slew of other actors filling the vampire roles, including Maggie Grace and MyAnna Buring.

“The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part I” itself has been scheduled for U.S. release on November 18, 2011. It will be followed by “The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part II”, which has been set by Summit Entertainment to hit theaters on November 16, 2012.

Filming for both parts of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is just about to begin, and the release date for Part 1 is over a year from now (November 18th, 2011), but already the film is being chosen as one of the “Most Anticipated” for next year.

Access Hollywood revealed its “Top 10 Most Anticipated Films of 2011″ list, and guess which film was at the number two spot? The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, of course. The film was only bested by Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part II, the final film of the Harry Potter series.

Perhaps part of the animated anticipation for this film comes from the recent casting additions announced by Summit Entertainment. Maggie Grace, Mia Maestro, Christian Camargo, Casey LaBow, and Myanna Buring joined the cast as the two films’ “Denali” coven.

As a refresher, both Breaking Dawn films are being shot at the same time, directed by Bill Condon this winter, and the filming location is split between Vancouver, British Columbia (where New Moon and Eclipse were filmed) and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Summit Entertainment announced the following have been cast in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn for roles in The Amazon Coven, The Egyptian Coven, The Irish Coven and The Romanian Coven, as well as the American and European Nomads as outlined below.

The Amazon Coven

The Amazon Coven is comprised of Tracey Heggins as Senna and Judith Shekoni as Zafrina.

Among the oldest vampires in the world, Senna and Zafrina are descendants of an ancient Amazonian tribe. They have lived outside of civilization for centuries and therefore make no attempt to keep up a human facade. Though they drink human blood, the Amazons have long been allies of Carlisle.

The Egyptian Coven

The Egyptian Coven is comprised of:

Omar Metwally (Rendition, Munich) as Amun.
Andrea Gabriel (Lost, House M.D.) as Kebi.
Rami Malek (Night at the Museum) as Benjamin.
Angela Sarafyan (Love Hurts, The Good Guys) as Tia.

The Egyptian Coven consists of Amun, Kebi, Benjamin, and Tia, with Amun as the leader. It is stated that even though they are not a biological family, they could pass for one. Amun is extremely protective of his family and fearful of Aro.

The Irish Coven

The Irish Coven is comprised of Marlane Barnes (The Tree of Life) as Maggie, Lisa Howard as Siobhan and Patrick Brennan as Liam.

The Irish Coven, a relatively young group, was founded by Siobhan and Liam, but Maggie’s talent made her an important element of it. They are not vegetarian but they are civilized.

The Romanian Coven

The Romanian Coven is comprised of Noel Fisher (The Pacific, Final Destination 2) as Vladimir and Guri Weinberg (Munich) as Stefan.

The Romanian Coven is one of the oldest covens in the world and they were the ruling vampire family until they were unseated by the Volturi. For that reason they harbor a centuries old resentment of the Italian coven.

The American Nomads

The American Nomads are comprised of:

Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies, The Good Shepherd) as Garrett.
Toni Trucks (Music and Lyrics) as Mary.
Bill Tangradi (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) as Randall.
Erik Odom as Peter.
Valorie Curry (Veronica Mars) as Charlotte.

Turned during the Revolutionary War, Garrett has chosen to live a nomadic existence, wandering the world on his own. Garrett has never lost the rebellious spirit of his human life, and loves a good fight, always rooting for the underdog. Though not a vegetarian, Garrett is among Carlisle’s closest and oldest friends. Mary and Randall are American nomadic vampires. Peter and Charlotte are nomadic vampires and mates. They were created during the aftermath of the Southern Vampire Wars, in which Jasper was a key player. They have remained friends with Jasper ever since.

The European Nomads

The European Nomads are comprised of Joe Anderson (The Crazies) as Alistair. A nomadic vampire from England, Alistair has a misanthropic, brooding personality and a deep mistrust of all authority. Although he counts Carlisle as his closest acquaintance, he doesn’t visit more than once a century.

Stephenie Meyer, author of the immensely followed Twilight series, left a note to fans thanking them for their support as the Twilight Facebook Fan Page hit an incredible 15 million fans. Additionally, she showed her enthusiasm in having newcomer Mackenzie Foy play Renesmee in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.

Foy’s two credits are for TV’s FlashForward and ‘Til Death. The actress who is turning 10 on November 10th, plays Renesmee Carlie Cullen, daughter of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, who is a human/vampire hybrid and a member of the Olympic Coven. Read more about the character here.’

Here’s the note from Meyer as made on Facebook:

Hi Everyone!

Congratulations to the Twilight Facebook Fan Page! 15 million fans! You guys never cease to amaze me. In other news…

Very excited about our new Renesmee, Mackenzie Foy. She’s an amazing young actress and I’m excited to work with her. I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer!

The awesome and ever-reliable Peter Facinelli (“Carlisle Cullen”), who alerted fans that he’d done his wardrobe fitting for Breaking Dawn a few weeks back, has now issued his thoughts on the scripts for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 via Twitter.

Just read the Breaking Dawn scripts. I must say… AWESOME! Very excited. :)

This means that not only are the scripts done (or near enough to done to allow the cast to see), but they also have the “Papa Cullen” stamp of approval!

This is good to know, since last time we heard from Melissa Rosenberg on the subject, the scripts were still works in progress. This was what she’d posted on her Facebook page back in early September:

Hi Y’all! Sorry I haven’t checked in for a while. Been immersed in the world of Breaking Dawn. I’ve been working very closely with our director Bill Condon, whose input has been SO great. He understands story, structure and character as only a fellow writer can, but he also has fantastic visual ideas. And he’s not…shying away from anything! Sex, birth, feathers, blood… it’s all in there. More later! xoxo Mel

Moving right along then! Filming for both movies is expected to begin in November, which is only a few weeks away!

Okay, I think we can all agree that Stretch Armstrong isn’t exactly a traditional “superhero” per se, but the fact remains that the popular Hasbro toy is becoming one on the big screen, courtesy of an upcoming live-action film starring “Twilight” alum Taylor Lautner.

And while “Stretch Armstrong” screenwriter Nick Stoller (“Get Him To The Greek”) once compared the tone of the film to “Iron Man” (something Lautner questioned in a subsequent interview), there’s a good chance that the real superpower on display in the film could be Lautner’s mutant ability to attract audiences… to his abs.

“[Lautner] will not wear a shirt,” Stoller joked to MTV News. “Yeah, he won’t wear a shirt through the whole thing.”
All kidding aside, Stoller said he’s not only well aware of the media’s obsession with the “Stretch Armstrong” star, he’s had to carefully choose his words in order to avoid getting caught in the public demand for anything and everything related to Lautner’s abdominal muscles.

“I gave an interview about how I had a meeting with Taylor Lautner [and] with Rob Letterman, who’s directing the movie, and in real life [Lautner] is a very good-looking guy,” said Stoller. “I kind of joked about how good-looking he was to some interviewer, and then on the internet was: ‘Writer Of Stretch Armstrong Thinks Taylor Lautner Is Hot.’”

“I was half joking about it, but yeah, I’m sure we will find a way for him not to have his shirt on at some point in the movie,” he laughed.

As for the film itself, Stoller described “Stretch Armstrong” as a “full-on superhero movie,” adding that it was “very grounded, kind of in the “Bourne” way, but kind of a cool superhero movie, too.”

“We have to create a whole mythology for this character, because there’s nothing — there’s no conflict, because it’s not based on anything except a stretchy toy,” he explained.

Of course, having one of Hollywood’s most popular actors as the male lead is a nice bonus, too.

“It’s really exciting to get to work with a star who’s so white-hot right now,” he laughed. “When we were hanging out with him, I’ve never seen more people come up to a celebrity before, so it was pretty cool. He’s just this really nice kid, [and] it’s such a funny thing to witness.”

“He’s smart, he’s got really good notes on the script, and yeah, he’s just the real deal,” said Stoller. “And yeah, he happens to have an awesome six-pack.”
