Only kidding! But, Robert Pattinson got seriously freaked out during the scene. “Twilight Saga” star Robert Pattinson recently admitted to having a panick attack during filming of the third installment in Summit Entertainment’s popular vampire series “Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”

Pattinson was reportedly shooting a scene for the film with co-star Kristen Stewart when he got freaked out. “I was really freaking out,” explains the 24-year-old actor.

“I think it had something to do with claustrophobia because we were actually filming in a tent. I just couldn’t get it together. I was so nervous. I just wanted to punch anyone who was near me.”

Perhaps he was intimidated by Taylor Lautner’s bulging biceps?

“Breaking Dawn” screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg has already revealed that the Bella and Edward sex scenes will be a part of the final two “Twilight Saga” installments, but making sure all of Stephenie Meyer’s new characters fit into the films – that’s a whole different challenge.

“It’s extremely challenging to introduce those new characters because you already have quite a slew of characters to service,” Rosenberg told MTV News during the “Girls Gone Genre” panel at Comic-Con. “The Cullen family is large, the wolf family is large, you have three leads… finding room for all of them is a challenge.”

While Rosenberg wouldn’t reveal exactly which new faces may or may not make the cut – possibly including Bella and Edward’s vampire wedding guests and new members of the werewolf tribe – she said she’s trying to focus on the ones that have the most impact on the story.

“For me, it is about pulling forward the ones that are essential and really making sure they have a presence,” she added.

One of the new faces Rosenberg may have to make room for appears to be former “Pushing Daisies” star Lee Pace.

According to E! Online, who first reported the casting news, Pace is in final talks to step into the role of Garrett, a nomadic vampire and friend of Edward.

In helping to make her decision, Rosenberg said she often solicits the feedback of the Twi-hards to make sure the big screen translation reflects what’s most important to the rabid fan base.

“I ask people to really weigh in with what are their favorite scenes in the books, what’s important to them,” Rosenberg noted. “And there generally seems to be a consensus about one scene or another. It’s really helpful for me and I’ll interact with them sometimes.”

However, Rosenberg – who was worked as screenwriter on all of the “Twilight Saga” films – did reveal one fact about the upcoming installments, putting some fan worries to rest in the process about whether she would take the part of “Breaking Dawn” told from Jacob Black’s (Taylor Lautner) point of view onto the big screen.

“I don’t know where that idea came from, but that is not true,” she said of Internet rumors she wouldn’t be including the Book of Jacob. “We are going to see Jacob’s perspective equally, so don’t worry.”

The first “Breaking Dawn” film is slated to hit theaters in November 2011. No date has been announced yet for the second – and final – film.

Artist Jason Mecier has created portraits of Kim K. and Taylor made entirely from about 500 pieces of—ready for this?—Red Vines licorice. Both works are part of We Like to Watch TV, a new San Francisco art show of celeb portraits by Mecier and his partner, painter Adam J. Ansell.

How much do the cavity-inducing works go for?

Way more than the price of a bag of candy. Try between $1,000 and $2,000!

As happy as we are to see a yummy Lautner, we’re sad to report Mecier has yet to create one of Robert Pattinson.

“Taylor Lautner muscles his way into co-star’s heart,” reads the headline of a National Enquirer story that claims after “constantly flashing his shirtless six pack on the Pittsburgh set of (sic) new flick ‘Abduction,’” Taylor Lautner successfully seduced his co-star Lily Collins, “and now they’re in full-blown love.” Uh, huh..

The tab goes on to report, “Taylor was smitten from day one,” and The Blind Side star “got so hot and swoony over the ab-fab teen after knowing him just two weeks, she suddenly dumped her boyfriend of one year.”

Really? Uh, no. A source close to Collins assures Gossip Cop that she is “still with her boyfriend.” Once again, the National Enquirer is abs-olutely wrong!

While that goofy idea Bryan Singer had about Taylor Lautner showing up as young Wolverine in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS never became reality, the prequel is getting another cast member from the TWILIGHT franchise instead.

Deadline says that Edi Gathegi (who played vampire henchman Laurent) will join Matthew Vaughn’s movie as someone named Darwin. He’s “the first bi-racial mutant, has the power of ‘reactive evolution,’ which allows him to adapt to any situation or environment. Plunged underwater, he’ll grow gills, he’ll gain night vision in pitch black and his skin grows fire retardant when burned.”

I’m not familiar with the character — he must’ve appeared after I’d given up on the increasingly convoluted X-Men comics. You can find some wiki on him RIGHT HERE.

Gathegi, who might be better known to non-Twihards as gangsta Cheese in GONE BABY GONE, the deputy from MY BLOODY VALENTINE or a doctor on “House”, joins James McAvoy as Professor Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto, Alice Eve as Emma Frost, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Caleb Landry Jones as Banshee and Lucas Till as Havok. Kevin Bacon is playing the villain, identity as yet undisclosed.

Seems as though Cyclops is the only major mutant still uncast (looks like the Aaron Johnson rumors were untrue).

Taylor Lautner has reportedly said that he believes his character of Jacob Black and Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen “connect” in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Accoridng to Now, Lautner said that he thinks the two roles now have “respect” for each other.

He explained: “Jacob hated Edward with a passion, but now they are forced to team up. We have a moment where I have to hate and understand him at the same time. It’s the first moment where we’re able to connect.”

The 18-year-old added that Bella (Kristen Stewart) makes the rivals work as a team.

“As much as we hate each other, we kinda respect each other. We go, ‘Let’s put this all aside and fight for Bella’.”

First of all, several cast members from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 have been revealed, but announcements have been limited to those actors and actresses who are returning from Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

So, no new castmembers from the film have been announced just yet.

However, a rumored potential addition to the cast has been unveiled by E! Online, and while the site admits that no official decision has been made on the subject just yet, it is interesting to see who’s in the rumor mill for one of my favorite new Breaking Dawn characters.

According to E! Online, Lee Pace is in contention for the role of “Garrett.” This is not confirmed, of course, but we have seen early speculation reports turn into reality along the way of these films being made (with Xavier Samuel, Bronson Pelletier, etc.), so it’s not entirely impossible either (still, note that it isn’t an official casting announcement until Summit Entertainment confirms that sort of information).

As you know, “Garrett” is one of the nomad vampires that joins the “Cullen” coven’s side for the “Volturi” showdown, and his character is one that brings a little light-heartedness to an otherwise heavy situation.

Over a year ago, the idea of Ryan Reynolds picking up the post was discussed, and since then, a few other casting ideas have been thrown around.

Attending the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in Los Angeles were a few other potentials, one might suggest. Celebrities like Ethan Embry and Tia and Tamara Mowry walked the red carpet for the premiere, and they could easily be considered in contention for some of the spots (Embry for “Garrett” or the Mowry sisters for “Zafrina” and “Senna,” perhaps). There’s always Jennifer Love Hewitt, too, for a part like “Irina.”

At any rate, Lee Pace is an actor best known for his work in Pushing Daisies, The Good Shepard, and A Single Man. You can find out more about him here. Think he looks the part?

Side note: It’s hard to believe we’re already at the point of casting discussions for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn(s), but if schedules have been accurate so far, filming for the movies will begin in just a few short months. Where has the time gone?

It took about two years for Taylor Swift to finally say what she wishes she had said to a number of people.

On her upcoming album, Speak Now, the young singer has revealed that each song is “written to a specific person in mind, telling them what I meant to tell them in person,” reports Flecking Records.

The follow-up album to Fearless took about two years to make and is giving Swift a chance to say what was on her mind.

Wonder if there will be “open letters” to alleged former boyfriends Joe Jonas or Taylor Lautner.

Taylor Lautner wowed fans with his physique in Twilight sequel “New Dawn’ and “Eclipse,” but in his new film, “Abduction,” he really gets to show off his martial arts skills. If you weren’t on Team Jacob before, you will be now.

Lautner, 18, is busy shooting “Abduction” in Pittsburgh, Pa., where he’s causing quite a stir with local fans.

“There are hundreds of teenage girls camping out to meet him that have to be held back by barriers,” says co-star Isaacs.

“Abduction” is a thriller that focuses on a youth (Lautner) who discovers the parents who raised him aren’t his real folks, a revelation that triggers events and leaves him running for his life.

The movie really puts Taylor’s skils to the test running, jumping and fighting.

And he just doesn’t look good, he’s super-athletic in the movie, showcasing the martial-arts and gymnastic skills he learned on his way to becoming a junior world karate champ.

“He’s a martial arts prodigy,” co-star Jason Isaacs told Metro yesterday (July 25). “Even at 11 he looked like [movie star and martial arts champion] Bruce Lee. He’s a phenomenon; he’s like a gold-medal gymnast.”

Well, gold medal may be a bit of an exaggeration, but Issacs, 47, got a chance to see Lautner’s skills first hand.

He was initially apprehensive about doing fight scenes against an expert like Lautner.

“He’s been doing karate since he was six!” says Jason. “I’ve done 10 kickboxing lessons.

“Hollywood decided he is the latest action hero, apparently, and I’m there in this film to make him look even more muscular. And I’ll do that.”

This isn’t the first time a castmate was amazed by Lautner’s super-athleticism. In June, Eclipse co-star Elizabeth Reaser (“Esme Cullen”) raved that Taylor was the fittest person she had ever seen.

Taylor, who famously gained 30 pounds of rippling muscle for “Twilight: New Moon” and “Eclipse,” reveals he did fight training and boxing for the intense action scenes in “Abduction.”

“I’ve been training,” Taylor said. “I did boxing training for a couple months. Now I’m into the fight training, motorcycle. ‘ll do a little swimming training. It’s all-around. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

The action and stuntwork is right up Lautner’s alley. Taylor, a junior-world karate champ at age 12, says he would love to be action hero like fictional superspy Jason Bourne (played by Matt Damon).

“I love action, but most important is the story,” he says. “And the story behind this action thriller ['Abduction'] is amazing. We got [director] John Singleton behind us. I’m so thankful we’re getting a cast like that.”

Later this year, Taylor will begin shooting “Breaking Dawn,” the fourth installment in the “Twilight” saga.

Breaking Dawn will be broken up into two separate films, with Part 1 due out in November 2011.

Our date with the sexy werewolf took place at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles. Taylor came in with a simple gray shirt, black jeans and a sports jacket in navy blue, and that great body of his. He came in with a smile, flashing his superwhite teeth, in contrast with his beautiful tanned skin. He’s confident in himself and friendly, and he’s very commited to this movie: “This movie is really, really, really good. Very good. I can’t wait for you to see it”.

He adds that just like in the previous films, this movie is very faithful to the books “we know what the fans want to see”.

His excitement is because he’s so excited about this movie, since it’s his favorite: “It’s probably because of the fact that three of them are together all the time for the first time ever in the series. It’s really the first time Bella is truly torn between these two guys. It’s the peak of this love triangle. I definitely enjoyed this part, but this level of action goes through the roof. It’s constant war, so it’s darker.”

Is Jacob the best choice?

One of the most important questions is, Why should Bella pick Jacob? Taylor thinks for a minute and says: “I don’t know. It’s a tough choice because both guys are great, but they’e so different from each other, they’re opposites. She really can’t choose one over the other so I think I understand her situation. Even if they’re so different, they have a lot of qualities too”.

Jacob, however, does think that the healthiest thing for Bella is to stay with him and not become a vampire, which Taylor agrees with: “Jacob has this very interesting dialogue the last time he tries to convince her that she should stay with him. And she tells her ‘you don’t have to change for me’, and I think that is very big of him. She can stay exactly like she is, and not having to deal with the other stuff. She can be just Bella and be with him. Jacob tells her ‘it’s as easy as breathing’.

Since he won’t give up, he confesses his love to Bella by saying “I’ll fight for you until your heart stops beating”. So romantic! So we asked him about their kiss “Which kiss?” he asks laughing “the one where she punches me, or the one where she really wants to kiss me? The first time we kiss it was against Bella’s will, and I get punched. It was a fun scene to shoot. Well, it’s not fun to kiss someone who doesn’t want you to kiss them and is pushing you away like this the whole time. Then I get punched. But the second one as good. We were on the top of this mountain with a beautiful landscape behind us and it was a romantic kiss. That was nice!”.

A sneak peek at Breaking Dawn.

As we know, BD will be two movies directed by Bill Condon, Taylor says: “I know he’ll make a ood film. He always does. The baby will be interesting, my relationship with Renesmee. We’ll see. I haven’t seen a script, so we’ll see what they can write that is in the books. The whole Jacob/Renesmee thing will most definitely be a challenge”.

Happy with the attention

There’s tons of action in the movie, so we asked him how he kept his muscles. He laughs saying: “It’s actually hard to keep the weight on, just as much as you get it in the first place. I didn’t do anything different, I had to keep training, but this time I studied the book more”. He says once again, that Eclipse is his favorite book, which made filming so much easier: “We’re strong, we’re fast, we have fur! I love that, we’re sexy!”.

Sad thing is, he couldn’t do many of his stunts: “many of my bests scenes are me as a wolf. That was very disappointing to me, but it looks cool! I’ve seen the movie, they did a great job with the wolves, the action sequences are cool”.

Zero personal questions, BUT…

Before the interview we were warned that no personal questions were allowed, so nobody brings out the rumor that he might have feelings for his co-stars (um, wut?). Darn! But, fortunately, he did answer some questions about being in love triangles before, like his character: “That is a good question. Maybe in elementary school I had one, but it was a little crush and I was eleven.”

Who kept the girl? He laughs harder: “I’m sure we both won”. But if was in the same situation right now, he would definitely win! Still, it looks like he wants to go on a date with someone “I’d say not really. It’s the same, it’s still hard”. We really doubt that. He’s super sweet and very mature.

Is he too picky? What does he look for in a girl? “She needs to be honest, loyal, dependable. She has to be fun, willing to just be herself and laugh at herself”.

Speaking of love, we want to know how romantic is Taylor. He luaghs, shyly: “I don’t know. It’s a complicated question. I don’t know. Maybe spending time together is enough for me, I don’t like anything too extravagant. You know, just dinner, a movie, simple things, enjoy our time together just the two of us, not having to worry about anything else, just sit on a couch and talk”.

After being involved with Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, he must have some romantic advice, but he says “I’m 18. I’m at a stage where I don’t want anything serious right now, so I’m probably not the best person to give advice, just don’t take things too seriously and have fun!”.

Taylor says goodbye, but before, he shares what he wants for his future: “I want to challenge myself, do different types of roles and not do the same thing over and over”.
